About The Position
UNIDIR is inviting applications for the position of Graduate Professional under its Conventional Weapons Programme.
The selected candidate will support the Exploratory Research Cell and assist with research, programme coordination, policy support, and related activities.
This is a fully remote opportunity for a period of six months.

Eligibility
Applicants must satisfy one of the following conditions:
They must have completed a university degree within the past year; or
They must be currently enrolled in a graduate programme.
Relevant academic or research experience will be considered an advantage. However, no formal work experience is required.
Preferred academic backgrounds include:
International relations, security studies, peace and conflict studies, international law, and political science.
Language Requirements
Applicants must have fluency in English, both written and spoken.
Knowledge of another United Nations language, such as French or Spanish, will be beneficial.
Key Responsibilities
The selected Graduate Professional will work under the supervision of senior programme staff.
The role will include conducting background research and analysis on security and disarmament-related topics.
The candidate will also assist in planning and coordinating workshops, meetings, conferences, and other events.
Additional responsibilities include supporting administrative and programme-related work, contributing to documentation, monitoring and reporting activities, and carrying out other tasks assigned by the team.

Perks
