Agartala: The Pro Bono Club of the National Law University, Tripura has announced the launch of Lex Nova 1.0, a national-level blog writing competition aimed at promoting dialogue on the importance of pro bono and legal aid services in India. The inaugural edition is open to all undergraduate and postgraduate students from recognized universities and colleges across the country.
The theme for this year’s competition is “A Vital Need for Pro Bono and Legal Aid Services,” reflecting the institution’s commitment to advancing access to justice. Registration for the contest will remain open until 15 December 2025, while participants must submit their entries by 25 December 2025. Results will be published on the official NLU Tripura website and its social media platforms.
Attractive rewards have been announced for the top performers, with the first, second, and third prize winners receiving ₹5,000, ₹3,000, and ₹2,000 respectively. Additionally, the top five blogs will be featured on the university’s website. All participants will be awarded certificates of participation, encouraging wider involvement from students nationwide.
