About the Internship

Lily Thomas & Saju Jakob, Advocates & Solicitors, New Delhi, is inviting applications for its short-term legal internship programme for the months of August/September 2026.

This one-month internship is suitable for law students who wish to gain practical exposure in a professional legal environment. Interns will have the opportunity to work with experienced legal professionals and develop their research, drafting, and case-handling skills.

Key Responsibilities

Selected interns may be required to:

Conduct legal research and prepare concise research notes
Assist in drafting legal documents, contracts, case briefs, and related materials
Review case files and help organise legal records
Assist in client meetings, briefings, or hearings, wherever applicable
Provide administrative and paralegal support to the legal team

Eligibility Criteria

The opportunity is open to students enrolled in LL.B., B.A. LL.B., B.B.A. LL.B., or equivalent law programmes.

Applicants should have:

Strong legal research and writing skills
Basic familiarity with legal databases and legal procedures
Good communication skills
Analytical ability and attention to detail

Stipend

No stipend will be provided.

Location

IP Extension, New Delhi

This is an in-office internship, and candidates must be available to work on-site.
