About The Opportunity
Hidayatullah National Law University, Raipur has invited applications for the post of DPIIT–IPR Chair Professor.
The post falls under the aegis of the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India.
The position is suitable for accomplished academicians, IPR professionals, and experts with substantial experience in Intellectual Property Rights.
The selected candidate will contribute to research, teaching, policy engagement, capacity-building activities, and academic initiatives in the field of IPR.
Eligibility
A candidate may apply if he or she meets any one of the following criteria.
The applicant must have served as a Professor or Associate Professor. Alternatively, the applicant must meet the UGC eligibility criteria for these posts. The candidate should also have sufficient teaching and research experience in Intellectual Property Rights.
An IP attorney may also apply if he or she has practised IPR law for at least 10 years.
Professionals with significant recognition in the field of IPR may also apply. They must have at least 10 years of experience in the field.
A retired official of the IP Office under CGPDTM may also apply. However, the person must hold a doctorate degree. The applicant must also have at least five years of experience at Level 12 or above.
This includes experience as Controller of Patent and Design, Registrar of Trademark and Geographical Indications, or Registrar of Copyrights.

The selected candidate will receive a consolidated pay of ₹1.5 lakh per month.
